Mon stage chez Angelini Pharma

J'aurai attendu trois mois pour parler de mon stage en entreprise, mais mieux vaut tard que jamais!

I/ PRÉSENTATION DE L’ENTREPRISE

L’entreprise Angelini Pharma résulte de la fusion entre le groupe italien
Angelini et la société Alcavis HDC. D’un côté un laboratoire pharmaceutique très influent en Europe qui s’est diversifié au fil des années, de l’autre une entreprise américaine, spécialisée dans la vente et la production de machines et produits liés au domaine médical.

L’entreprise qui emploie une trentaine de personne, se situe en périphérie de Washington à Gaithersburg, et exerce son activité principalement aux États-Unis mais exporte aussi à l’internationale. Elle commercialise plus exactement des machines et des produits désinfectants, dont une partie est produit sur place. Son activité majeure concerne le domaine de la dialyse, mais la société est en plein développement : elle lance de nouveaux produits, et intègre une nouvelle branche du marché de la santé. Sa clientèle se compose essentiellement d’hôpitaux, de cliniques, de maisons de retraites. Une autre partie s’occupe également de la commercialisation d’un anti-dépresseur (Oleptro) sur le marché pharmaceutique américain.

Angelini pharma n’existe officiellement que depuis le 1er Janvier 2013, ce qui explique la réorganisation interne qui a eu lieu pendant mon stage.

II/ EN QUOI A CONSISTÉ MON STAGE ?

J’ai été affectée à plusieurs départements de l’entreprise au cours de ces trois mois, notamment en Finance & Comptabilité, Marketing, Logistique opérationnelle et Production. Après un temps d’observation et d’apprentissage dans chaque section, j’ai pu prendre part à des projets.

• En tant qu'assistante du CFO (Chief Financial Officer), je me suis occupée d’enregistrée des factures et d'autres tâches de comptabilité avec l'utilisation de logiciels spécifiques. J'ai également manipuler des données financières pour faire des tableaux de synthèses sur Excel.
• J'ai étais impliquée dans la modification du design des produits ainsi qu'au changement du site web.
• D'autre part, j'ai participé à l’activité de production, et de préparation des commandes. Le Manager opérationnel m'a mis en charge du projet de réorganisation de la gestion des stocks.
• On m'a également chargée de l'organisation de plusieurs réunions auxquelles j'ai pu assister.
• Mon stage a également consisté à rédigé des rapports sur différentes activités.
• J'ai pu assister à une série d'interviews pour un entretien d'embauche.
• Enfin le directeur m'a confié l’organisation du déménagement des bureaux, ainsi qu'un travail de traduction (de l'anglais au français) pour la notice de plusieurs produits.

A travers ces différentes tâches, j'ai eu le privilège d'être intégrée complétement au fonctionnement de l'entreprise, et d'être au courant d'informations importantes. J'ai eu la chance d'être impliquée, responsabilisée, et de travailler en autonomie. J'ai beaucoup appris chez Angelinie Pharma et tout ça dans une bonne ambiance ! 

C’est difficile de mettre par écrit tout ce que ce stage m’a apporté de positif. Néanmoins je dirais que ces trois mois ont été une étape décisive pour mon avenir. Je souhaiterai enfin remercier toute l’équipe de l’entreprise, et particulièrement mon maitre de stage qui m’a donné de précieux conseils et surtout l’opportunité de faire mes preuves.

I / PRESENTATION OF THE COMPANY

The company Angelini Pharma results of the merger between the Italian group
Angelini and society Alcavis HDC. On one side a pharmaceutical very influential in Europe has diversified over the years, on the other side an American company specialized din the sale and production of machines and products related to the medical field.

The company employs thirty people, is situated on the outskirts of Washington in Washington DC, and operates primarily in the United States but also exports to international. It sells more than just machines and disinfectants, some of which are produced locally. Its main activity is in the field of dialysis, but the company is booming: it introduces new products and incorporates a new branch of the healthcare market. Its clientele consists mainly of hospitals, clinics, retirement homes. Another part is also responsible for the marketing of an anti-depressant (OLEPTRO) on the U.S. pharmaceutical market.

Angelini pharma exists officially since the 1st January 2013, which explains the internal reorganization that took place during my internship.

II / IN WHAT CONSISTED MY INTERNSHIP?

I was assigned to several departments of the company over the past three months, including Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Operational Logistics and Production. After a period of observation and learning in each section, I was able to participate in projects.

- As assistant to the CFO (Chief Financial Officer), I was busy with registered invoices and other accounting tasks with the use of specific software. I also manipulate financial data to make syntheses of Excel tables.
- I was involved in the modification of products design as well as change of the website.
- On the other hand, I participated in the production activity, and preparing orders. The Operational Manager put me in charge of the project to reorganize the management of stocks....
- I was also responsible for the organization of several meetings I have attended.
- My internship also included written reports on various activities.
- I was able to attend a series of interviews for a job interview.
- Finally, the manager told me the organization of office relocation, as well as translation work (English to French) instructions for multiple products.

Through these tasks, I had the privilege of being fully integrated in the company, and to be aware of important information. I had the chance to be involved, accountable, and work independently. I learned a lot from Angelinie Pharma and all in a good mood!

It is difficult to write all this internship gave me positive. However I would say that three months have been a milestone for my future. I wish I finally thank the entire team of the company, especially my master internship gave me valuable advice and especially the opportunity to prove myself.
